Food + Health Entrepreneurship Academy
Location and Logistics

Location

The one-week program will be held February 1-5, 2010 at the University of California, Davis. The conference will take place at the Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center.

Lodging

Out of town participants are housed at:

  • Hallmark Inn, a hotel located in downtown Davis, near the Amtrak Train Station.
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided daily for all academy participants. No dinner Sunday evening or Friday evening.

Dining

  • Breakfast and lunch provided Monday-Friday and dinner provided Monday-Thursday.

  • Some dining suggestions for Sunday and Friday evenings are listed below. They are all within walking distance of the campus and downtown.

  • Monday, February 1st, Evening Mixer
    For participants and invited guests, a welcome mixer at the from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

  • Wednesday, February 3rd, Keynote Dinner:
    For participants and invited guests, a networking dinner from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a keynote speaker (TBA).

Getting Here

Getting Around

Getting around Davis is easy without a car. The hotel is within walking distance of the academy. You can also rent a bike or take the bus.
