The Center's ongoing objective is to serve as the nexus for entrepreneurship education and research—and as a springboard for entrepreneurial initiatives on the UC Davis campus.
To accomplish this, we bring science, engineering and business students and faculty together with experienced entrepreneurs, investors and corporate leaders in an environment that blends effective theory with hands-on participation and solution-driven innovation.
With total research funding in excess of $505M in 2004-2005, UC Davis is one of the world's foremost research and teaching institutions. Areas of expertise include engineering, agriculture, clean energy, environmental sustainability, nutrition, life sciences, medical diagnostics, veterinary medicine and pharmaceuticals.
The Center's education mission is to provide students from business, science and engineering with the necessary skills, resources and network support to turn their ideas into action.
