Ingrid Neumann is a Physics PhD candidate, specializing in experimental low temperature condensed matter physics. Her experience is with bulk and thin film materials synthesis, structural and magnetic characterization methods, laser and vacuum systems, cryogenics, designing and machining custom parts, data analysis, basic programming and electronics.
Ingrid's interests have always included both the fundamental reasons of why a technology functions and their ultimate practical applications. Fueled by her distinctive curiosity, she became interested in technology management after exposure in an engineering course.
Upon completion of her PhD, Ingrid is planning to pursue a career in Industrial Technology Product Development. She believes that creating a final functioning and useful product, which is received well by the market, is the most rewarding experience imaginable.
