Tai Stillwater is currently working as an Emerging Ventures Analyst at the UC Davis Energy Efficiency Center and as a Graduate Student Researcher with Berkeley’s Innovative Mobility Research group. He is a second year Transportation Technology and Policy graduate student at UC Davis.
Tai's research interests include technological and behavioral pathways to low energy transport. He studies how grassroots ideas and innovations can diffuse throughout society to eventually create large changes. At IMR, he is studying the potential energy impacts of Smart Parking technologies. His hypothesis is that by creating an information rich environment for drivers, these and similar technologies will create less user uncertainty and therefore lead to a more efficient and less energy intensive transportation system.
